The reality check
Building a product for the continent has never been faster. Making it payable is still the wall: several regions, several operators, a file per provider, and not one franc before approval.

The solution
Collection, subscriptions, billing, taxes, disputes and payouts: one engine for everything that happens after the customer taps pay.
We handle collection, taxes and disputes for you, across Africa and worldwide. You sell: compliance, risk and refunds are no longer your problem.
Subscriptions, one-off payments, credits and coins, license keys. The same engine covers all four models: from AI agents billed by consumption to the coin packs of a game.
Revenue, customers, success rates and purchase journeys from day one. No dashboard to build, no spreadsheet to maintain.
In practice
No company to register, no file to open with each operator. You create a project, you pick your billing currency, and it is live.
The account, no paperwork
A payment link to start without writing a line of code. An API and SDKs when the product grows, readable by a human and guessable by an agent.
The payment link
The orchestrator picks the provider most likely to complete each payment, and falls back to another when that one fails: that is how the success rate goes up. It retries failed subscriptions, works out the taxes, absorbs disputes and pays you out where your treasury requires.
Choosing the route
All included
No module to install, no paid add-on, no hidden fee: every piece below is covered by the same rate.
Collection, taxes and disputes are carried in our name: you sell, and compliance and refunds stop being your problem.
Local routes country by country, without integrating one operator at a time — or filing paperwork with each.
Subscription, one-time payment, credits and coins, license keys: the same engine carries all four.
To a local account in your name, with no entity outside the continent and no company to set up.
Revenue, customers, success rate and purchase paths — without a dashboard to build or a spreadsheet to keep.
Cards and crypto everywhere, mobile money wherever an operator runs.
Mobile money operators, cards and wallets are not integrated one by one: the orchestrator chooses the route most likely to succeed.

Monetization
Subscriptions, one-off payments, credits and coins, license keys: four models on one engine. You choose how you charge; Itaja handles retries, taxes and payouts.
Monthly and yearly plans, automatic retries on failed payments. Your customers pay by mobile money, by card or in crypto, wherever they are.
Pro plan
Courses, templates, digital products: a payment link is all it takes. The customer pays, the order goes out.
One-off sale
AI agents, APIs billed by consumption, coin packs in a game, an app or a piece of software: metering, pack sales and top-ups live in the engine, not in your backlog.
Credits and coins
Your software sold with a key generated at purchase, managed from the API. No license server to maintain.
License
A readable API, webhooks that land, and a single way to bill: from first test to volume.
Subscriptions and one-off payments, credits for AI agents, coin packs for a game, license keys for software, invoicing and dunning. All four models sit on the same engine.
Mobile money, cards and wallets behind a single integration. The orchestrator picks the route most likely to succeed instead of leaving you to guess.
Local accounts, mobile money or stablecoins. You collect from anywhere, you get paid where your treasury lives.

8% + 100 FCFA
The model is denominated in CFA francs. For other markets, the fee is converted at the day’s rate.

8 % × 5 000 + 100 = 500 XOF

With Itaja — The rate above is the total price. Nothing is added to it, not by country, not by payment method, not on subscriptions.
Integration
A documented package, a readable API, and skills ready for the coding agent you already use.

Packages and skills evolve with the API; the example above shows how they are used.
If an answer is missing, write to us: a question asked twice becomes an entry in this list.
No. That is the whole point of merchant of record: Itaja is the seller to your customer, so we carry the merchant relationship and the obligations that come with it. You do not have to set up a structure abroad to access a payment method.
Mobile money, cards and wallets, through an orchestrator. For each payment it picks the partner most likely to complete it and falls back to a second one on failure, which raises the success rate. Providers already have an adapter in production; the others are being finalised.
By payout to a local account, a mobile money wallet or stablecoins, whichever suits your treasury. Finalising payouts is the December 2026 milestone.
Subscriptions, one-off payments, credits and coins, license keys. Credits cover an AI agent billed by consumption as well as a coin pack bought inside a game — without rebuilding a metering engine.
No. Itaja is merchant of record and orchestrator: funds move through licensed providers, with whom we hold the contractual relationships. That separation is what lets us operate without you having to obtain a licence.
Nothing at all to start: a payment link is enough. Then a documented API and SDKs, with a complete example in a few lines. The goal is to stay compatible with AI coding stacks, which means being legible and predictable.
The service opens in September 2026 and takes its first 100 merchants. Finalisation of payouts follows, in December 2026. Sign up: places are allocated from the waitlist.
Opening in September 2026, with direct support from the team. Two minutes on the form: what you are building decides your rank.
